About 17 Machinists members from IAM District 70 in Kansas are walking the picket line in freezing weather. The civilian contractors, a bargaining unit of U.S. Air Force cockpit simulator instructors at FlightSafety Services in Wichita, were forced to go on strike after noticing an error in their contract, a costly mistake that must be quickly fixed by the military.
