We’d like to share something.
We’re working men and women, just like you. Many of us are in the aerospace industry, but you’ll also find us in hundreds of other jobs at thousands of companies — in manufacturing, transportation, automotive, energy and much more.
But no matter the distance between us or the difference in our work, we’re on the same team. We all want to enjoy our jobs, and be treated and compensated fairly for it.
That’s a big reason why we’re union members.
Whether you are for, against or not sure about a union yet, hear us out. By joining together in the IAM, we get some pretty amazing opportunities.
One of our favorites is getting the best labor education in the world. The IAM’s Winpisinger Education and Technology Center, nestled on the banks of the Patuxent River in southern Maryland, is the only facility in North America dedicated full time to educating union members.
The Winpisinger Center helps us navigate the rapidly changing world of work in the 21st century. Since 1981, more than 60,000 students have taken classes here.
Last week, it was our turn.
We were busy of course, but we wanted to take a moment to show our support for you, the hard working women and men at Boeing South Carolina.
We are learning to be the offensive line for our members back home, and we hope you join our team.
